Myanmar: Multiple labour rights violations reported at backpack factory; incl. co. response

In February 2024, it was reported that workers at Welcomebine Leather Myanmar are facing a series of violations, including wage cuts, denial of leave and wage cuts if workers take leave, excessive production targets, verbal abuse, denial of permanent contracts for day labourers, unfair dismissals, and workers facing discrimination if they don't work overtime.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Parfois to respond. It did not.
