Cargill response

  • Our priority remains the safety of our employees and our immediate focus is to provide assistance and support to our employees, including mental health support. However, we must acknowledge that the response to a mobilization order remains an individual personal decision of each employee, and not the decision of us as the employer. Where possible, we are seeking local exemptions to be able to continue our essential food and feed operations.
  • The Russian law you cite is not new and while we are not able to discuss specifics we have not concluded that recent events have created a heightened risk of Cargill contributing or being directly linked to the armed conflict. This is particularly so where our purpose and the work of our employees remains to operate essential food and feed facilities with our employees.
