Delta Air Lines Denies Jewish Discrimination [USA]
Delta Air Lines strongly denied reports that were published online, claiming that the airline is discriminating against Jewish passengers due to the joining of Saudi Arabian Airlines with the SkyTeam Alliance next year. The carrier says that it doesn’t discriminate nor condone discrimination against any consumers in regards to nationality, religion, race, gender or age...Delta Air Lines says it doesn’t operate services in Saudi Arabia and doesn’t sell seats on services to the nation that are operated by other carriers (otherwise known as a codeshare agreement), nor does it have plans to offer codeshare flights or other cross-carrier benefits with Saudi Arabian Airlines. The deal it has with the carrier only allows passengers to book flights on multiple airlines – similar to the standard interline deal that the Saudi carrier has with US Airways, American Airlines and Alaska Airlines...[The Saudi] embassy says that the passenger flight restrictions on Saudi Arabian Airlines are only rumor and are false.
