Disco Corporation response

Even before Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine began, DISCO Corporation has maintained a policy which states that we do not sell or ship products to companies when it is clear that the products are to be used for the production of weapons, and this includes but is not limited to Russia.

Based on this policy, we were shipping products to Russian companies before the military invasion through our affiliate office located in Germany. These products were exported in a legal manner while complying with both the regulations of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and those set forth in Europe. Since the onset of the military invasion, we have made no shipments to Russia following export regulation restrictions in Japan and Europe. Consequently, we have confirmed that the last shipment of our product (DAD3350) to Russia was in September 2014, which was before the military invasion began.

Finally, we would like to reemphasize that DISCO Corporation remains in full compliance with all export control regulations and has systems in place to track and enforce all relevant regulations worldwide. We will continue our strict compliance with all regulations going forward as well.
