The Coke plant included a fertilizer plant which started operation in 1971. It was designed according to old technology and accordingly the pollution was heavy. Therefore Helwan Fertilizers Co decided to establish up to date design by "Uhde Thyssen Krupp"...in 2007... So it is very strange that the old polluting plant was working no one raised any claim, but when the new plant started, the claim of some few people from Arab Abu Saed village raised this claim and created may harms against the company...
