Kulicke & Soffa response
Kulicke and Soffa (“K&S”) complies with all applicable sanctions and export controls regulations, including those imposed against Russia by the United States, the European Union, Switzerland, and other relevant jurisdictions.
When the war began in early 2022, K&S stopped taking new orders in Russia. The same directives were issued to all of our distributors and sales representatives globally. We also have in place compliance requirements for all our sales channels, including monitoring and control measures against sanction evasion and mitigating transshipment risks, implementing end user screening measures, additional undertakings and certifications, amongst others.
K&S takes very seriously the concerns raised by the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, and has initiated an internal review to verify and gather more information in respect of the same. That said, we cannot control the trade flows of our products throughout their entire life cycle. This applies in particular to products that have been placed on the market before 2022 and other trading activities on the secondary market. Any findings will be addressed appropriately through K&S’ compliance procedures, in conformance with the applicable laws and regulations.
Finally, we would like to reemphasize our commitment to compliance with the Russian trade sanctions, as well as all other applicable sanctions and export controls regulations
