A local community in northern Malawi has filed a lawsuit seeking compensation arising from the prospecting operations conducted of Globe Metals & Mining. The community alleges that as a result of the activities of Globe Metals & Mining, it has suffered gross poverty, deprivation and perpetual food insecurity.
