Myanmar: Supervisors at garment factory verbally abuse children to meet excessive production targets; incl. co. response

In June 2024, it was reported that workers at Fu Baii Houng Industrial are facing a series of violations, including child labourers hired at the factory forced to meet the same excessive production targets as adults, unable to go to the restroom due to the demands, and facing verbal abuse to meet the targets, high temperatures due to the lack of a fan, resulting in workers fainting, and no clinic at the factory.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited LPP (for its Sinsay brand) to respond. The response can be found below.
