Pakistan: Over 4,000 workers allegedly fired without notice, protest to demand reinstatement; co. did not respond

In June 2022, hundreds of workers staged a protest against Denim Clothing Company after they were allegedly sacked from their jobs. Workers further allege that workers, mostly female, were subject to sexual harassment and deprived of basic rights.

The company produces garments for international brands H&M, ZARA and several others...

In July 2022, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Denim Clothing Co. to respond to these allegations. It did not.
