PEP&CO's response to allegations of abuses in Myanmar garment factories

Our code of conduct clearly states that all workers have the right to join or form trade unions of their own choosing and to bargain collectively. It goes without saying we take any suggestion that our Code has been breached very seriously and will always investigate. This factory was first listed as a PEP&CO supplier from the first quarter of 2022 and only shipped its first items in June 2022, after auditing and onboarding.

Nevertheless, thank you for making us aware of this allegation – we are investigating the details and our group sourcing team is in contact with the supplier to obtain further details. Once our investigation has concluded, if a breach has been identified we will work with the supplier on remediation.
