Pfizer statement

...Pfizer stands with the unified global community across the public, private and civil society sectors in opposition to the Russian war in Ukraine and the brutal situation it has created. In line with our human rights policy statement we respect internationally recognized human rights throughout our operations, focusing on addressing risks that could have the most severe impacts on people: our patients, our colleagues, the workers of our business partners, and the communities in which we operate. As a biopharmaceutical company, the right to health is of paramount importance to us.

We are deeply concerned by the human suffering we all are witnessing during the ongoing crisis in Ukraine, and are committed to ensuring the safety of our colleagues and their families and facilitating continued access to our medicines for patients. Pfizer has a cross-functional team of people dedicated to ensuring the safety of our colleagues and monitoring the needs of the region.

We have publicly provided detailed information about our response in Ukraine here and stated our position about Russia here. These links will be updated as the situation evolves.

As an Efpia, IFPMA and PhRMA member, Pfizer also supports the Joint Industry Statement on the War in Ukraine. We all hope for a swift resolution to this conflict...
