Twitter did not respond to concerns about the negative impacts on the rights of imprisoned activists by its accounts cleanup plan

On 16 May 2023, the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Twitter to respond to the concerns about the planned cull of Twitter accounts that have been inactive for more than six months and how this could negatively impact the freedom of expression of imprisoned activists by silencing their voices. Twitter did not respond.
