Business zero-tolerance for trafficking

[Transcript of interview with David Arkless, President of Corporate and Government Affairs of Manpower Group:] "[Companies] must make sure...[that their] employees understand...the issue [of trafficking and modern day slavery] so they can...check on supply policies...Second, [they should]...amend company policies...and state a company culture that says that...it is against our values [to hire a prostitute or use forced labour]...Enforcement comes about...[through] consistent communication to employees through training programs, through value and cultural development inside the company and by tying employees to [the company's] mission...We [Manpower] are advocating worldwide for governments and international organizations and our own federation to ensure that they are of the highest standard of certification so that criminal gangs cannot...set up what looks like a...good recruitment agency and...start trafficking women and children."
