In October 2014 the Myanmar government released a first draft of the national land policy for public consultation. The 6th draft was released in May 2015 and a final one will be released soon. After seven rounds of consultations, the land policy is expected to be finalised in 2015 and will form the basis for the country’s first Land Law.
