This PBI Ireland submission will make specific recommendations related to the three pillars of the UN Guiding Principles as detailed below. Given the remit of PBI Ireland’s work and our accompaniment of (W)HRDs and communities living and working in the context of business related human rights violations we relate our recommendations to the Irish Government’s foreign policy, with particular reference to Ireland’s commitments to Human Rights (A Just World) in its recent statement on foreign policy, and in relation to its focus on strengthening Irish trade relations with overseas countries and entities
