[Summary translation prepared by Business & Human Rights Resource Centre]

Pivnichny GZK and Inhuletsk GZK finally join the city's air quality monitoring system, 26 March 2021

In Kryvyi Rih there is a system of environmental monitoring of the air, which displays the results of measuring the posts of the city and industrial enterprises. Adding information from stations of polluting enterprises was one of the activities of the Environmental Program of Kryvyi Rih. For almost three years, posts of "Metinvest" enterprises in Kryvyi Rih were not displayed in the system. We have repeatedly appealed to companies and local authorities about this.

At the beginning of 2021, letters were sent to Tsentralny, Pivnichny, Inhulets mining and processing plants and "KRMZ". And finally Tsentralny, Pivnichny and Inhulets mining and processing plants began to make the results of air quality measurements at the border of their sanitary protection zones freely available.
