Tunisia: Eni's Workers in Tazarka, On Strike

The Italian Eni company's staff in Tazarka (Nabeul governorate) have started a 3-day strike as of Wednesday, with with a halt in production.

This protest follows the refusal of the Italian company's legal representative to meet the workers' demands, including the right to paid leave, the organisation of internal recruitment competitions and promotion in grade.

The Italian oil company has several production sites in Nabeul and Tataouine governorates.
