Business lags in war against Aids [So. Africa]

Business in South Africa - with some marked exceptions - is not doing enough to help in the fight against HIV and Aids. Many businesses do not rate HIV and Aids very highly on their risk schedules and do not, therefore, see the need to get actively involved. This is the view of the chief executive of the South African Business Coalition on HIV and Aids (SABCOHA), Brad Meers..."A lot of businesses do not see the need to be a member of an organisation like SABCOHA. HIV, among many organisations, is not seen as very high among its risk schedules. They look at credit risk, paying the overdraft. If HIV comes in the top 10, you are lucky."
