Starbucks stands firm on Ethiopian price plea

Talks between Starbucks' [CEO]...and the Ethiopian prime minister...broke up yesterday without the international chain agreeing to pay more for Ethiopian coffee...Ethiopia and Oxfam accused Starbucks of preventing the country from trademarking its most famous beans...Oxfam said Starbucks negotiators "sadly remain deaf to the needs of the poor".
