Our Plant at Biyagama is fully functional, consequent to the Central Environment Authority (CEA) allowing us to continue the production of beverages at the Plant, in accordance with the Environment Protection License. The CEA granted us this permission following the Plant complying with all the mandatory and the additional requirements of the conditional licence, as laid out by the CEA. Over the last two months, since we first notified the CEA of the leakage of diesel fuel from the Plant premises, we have fully co-operated with all the local regulatory authorities, who have investigated and audited the Plant on the circumstances leading to the diesel fuel leakage and the corrective actions taken to prevent future recurrence. 

We sincerely regret the incident and take the opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to the country and the consumers.
