Judge encourages Coca-Cola to keep commitment to diversity [USA]

A federal judge is encouraging The Coca-Cola Co. to maintain its commitment to diversity in the workplace after receiving the final report from a task force born from a $200 million discrimination settlement by [the company]...The report said the company has made significant progress toward more equal opportunities for minorities and women, but added that improvements in personnel practices "must become embedded in the company's culture." The report said the company has successfully diversified its candidate and interview pools for open positions. The original suit was filed in 1999 on behalf of current and former employees.
