Nestlé has published the 2015 edition of its annual Nestlé in society: Creating Shared Value full report.  It follows the summary report published on March 8th, 2016, as part of Nestlé’s Annual Report package. This is the second report that Nestlé has prepared ‘in accordance’ with the comprehensive option of the Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) G4 guidelines.  The report, published online in PDF on the Nestlé website, is independently verified and contains a fully linked GRI index.  It provides readers an in-depth account of the company’s CSV activities in 2015, including additional details on progress against the 39 commitments featured in the summary report. The 2015 report is also of special interest to readers looking for more information on human rights, as it features Nestlé’s first reporting against the UN Guiding Principles Reporting Framework, including the identification of salient issues.  As an integral part of the annual Creating Shared Value report, Nestlé uses the Reporting Framework to demonstrate the key role that human rights plays in all areas of the business, and sets a standard for transparent and regular reporting on the topic.
