Indonesia: Report details ongoing worker exploitation at Indofood; company did not respond

Rainforest Action Network (RAN) published a new report that raises serious allegations of labour abuses in the plantations of Indofood.  These allegations include (1) worker exploitation, (2) poverty-level wages, (3) hazardous work conditions including exposure to hazardous pesticides, and (4) high risks of child labour.

Similar allegations were also made against Indofood in 2017. Business & Human Rights Resource Centre covered that story and Infood's response here.

Business & Human Rights Resource invited Indofood to respond to the latest report by RAN. It did not.
