With a theme: "Resolving Resource Conflicts in Nigeria", participants were drawn from all strata of the society and communities in the Niger Delta. The one-day parley was organised by ERA with support from Oxfam/Novib as part of its democracy outreach programme to sensitise the new leaders on the seriousness of the resource conflict in the region and possible ways out of the imbroglio.
