InterMoor (part of Acteon) did not respond

The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited InterMoor to respond to the report alleging that InterMoor is one of the oilfield services companies that “…have continued to work in Myanmar after the military’s attempted coup, helping the flow of gas – and revenues vital to the junta – to continue.” The report alleges that InterMoor “…won a contract in 2020 to provide mooring services for Diamond Offshore Drilling’s Ocean Monarch rig for the Shwe gas project.” The report further alleges “…the presence of InterMoor personnel in Myanmar in 2021 and 2022…” The report asserts that “…oilfield services companies have made themselves complicit with the junta as it commits war crimes and crimes against humanity against the people of Myanmar.”
