The company takes disciplinary action in accordance with its disciplinary codes approved by the Ministry of Labour. No disciplinary action is taken as a result of employees political views...In Bahrain there are official bodies who are concerned with human rights issues, i.e. Ministry of HR & Social Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Labor and National Institute of HR, with whom the company will if necessary coordinate on these matters. The company suggests you may wish to direct your queries to these bodies and they will furnish you with the necessary response. Furthermore, HM the King of Bahrain has issued a Royal Decree announcing the formation of the Royal Commission for Facts Findings which is a totally independent committee with professional multi international members, which was well received and acknowledged, globally. The committee findings/reports, which will also cover issues related to human rights, will be declared in Oct 2011.
