DTR Medical response

The issues raised in the document are important for the health and well-being of our industry and we are pleased to see improvements are taking place...As a direct supplier to the UK NHS we are responsible for ensuring our supply chain adhere to the same principles as the contracted public procurement. Supplying high quality instruments often at prices that recognise the added value we provide means that we create the opportunity for higher wages amongst our exporting companies in Pakistan...The report give us extra awareness of current status and areas for improvement and our responsibilities to ensure that our exporting partners make the additional improvements identified by Swedwatch and the Ethical and Fair Trade team at the BMA and we hope to participate in the future.
