I’m pleased to see that the working conditions in Pakistan are improving. The now enforced strict “no child labour” policy as well as a more diversified workforce including female workers shows that critical steps have been taken in the right direction. However, there is more to be done and therefore we will conduct an audit during 2015. The main focus now is to ensure that proper health and safety equipment are used in all stages of the manufacturing process and that sufficient training is provided to the workers.
