FIFA response to alleged wage theft of Pakistani security guards at Qatar 2022

Subject: allegations on workers employed by Stark Security in Qatar

FIFA has carefully examined the report published by ITV on 16 March 2023 on early termination of contracts, pending wages, and other labour and human rights violations allegedly faced by a group of security workers employed by Stark Security in Qatar.

... We understand that the above-mentioned company has been a host country contractor during the FIFA World Cup and that some of the issues raised in the report are currently being investigated by competent authorities in Qatar.

FIFA is following up closely on such investigations in contact with the ILO and other counterparts in Qatar and seeks to facilitate discussions at the host country level, to explore available options for remedy....
