Morrisons response re allegations of violence at Del Monte pineapple farm

At Morrisons we recognise the responsibility that we share with our suppliers to buy, produce and sell our products in an ethical manner, and practices that do meet our requirements are not acceptable. We are working proactively with Del Monte, the Ethical Trading Initiative, the British Retail Consortium and other stakeholders to ensure that a comprehensive, independent human rights assessment is undertaken in a timely manner. Once this is complete, we will support our supplier to ensure that any identified areas for improvement are effectively addressed.
