Myanmar: Garment workers demand wage increase to 5,600 kyats; incl. co. responses

In June 2023, it was reported that workers at AMG Factory were reportedly facing poverty wage, as workers' demands for increased pay and overtime pay in accordance to the law were not accepted by the employer. Workers also reported union leaders being monitored and threatened.

In October 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited ALPS and Lidl to respond. Lidl responded; ALPS did not. The full response can be found below.
