Myanmar: Workers at shoe factory reportedly denied leave & have limited access to medical assistance; Incl. co. responses

In April 2023, it was reported that workers at the Myanmar Sunway Shoes factory faced a series of violations, including denial of leave incl. medical leave, verbal abuse when workers asked about the reduction in seniority leave, and no access to medical assistance or supplies.

In October 2023, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited H&M and MUJI to respond. The responses can be found below.
