UK: Campaign calls on Sainsbury's, IKEA & Bravissimo to end contracts with Mitie following concerns over conditions in immigration detention centres it runs

To mark Refugee Week 2023, Women for Refugee Women and the End Detention group launched a campaign calling on Sainsbury's, IKEA and Bravissimo to end their contracts with facilities management company Mitie, which runs or is involved in running immigration detention centres in the UK. Serious concerns have been raised about poor and dangerous living conditions in these detention centres, says the campaign goes.
