Wilmar International's response on sourcing from REPSA

... We appreciate you reaching out to us and providing us  with the opportunity to respond.

REPSA is not a supplier to Wilmar, whereby our last purchase from REPSA was in December 2017. This is publicly stated in Wilmar’s grievance listing of the case – which is available via the Grievance List on our dashboard, and by searching for “REPSA”. For reference Wilmar first publicly reported on this case via our Grievance List in 2015, and this has been updated periodically. As reported in the listing of the case, Wilmar continues to engage REPSA in an effort to support their journey towards implementing their sustainability policies, although our engagement with REPSA has been strictly non-commercial.

For ease – I have attached a screen-shot of the listing to this email in jpg, however I recommend that you also review the listing directly on the Wilmar Grievance List as there are hyperlinks in the text.

For full disclosure, Wilmar also received a direct email from RAN, FPP and FOE with regards to their open letter dated 11 June 2021, and we responded via email on 15 June 2021 by referring them to our grievance listing on REPSA, as well as to indicate our continued support for their efforts to engage with REPSA while noting our firm belief that more impactful efforts and progress can only be achieved by companies that still have commercial ties and influence over REPSA.

Please do let us know if you require further information or clarification...
