"Civil Societies raise concern over deaths caused by lead poisoning in Changamwe constituency"

Civil society groups in Mombasa have raised concern over the rising number of deaths and ailments caused by poisoning caused by a lead smelting industry operating at Owino- Uhuru slum in Changamwe constituency.The civil society groups say over 300 people have so far died as a result of lead poisoning and want the government to take immediate action to stop a further catastrophe.
