On the occasion of the launching of its newest report “Peru´s Deadly Environment”, Global Witness will award Edwin Chota, an indigenous leader recently killed by illegal loggers, and calls the attention of the country’s actions to prevent these attacks when it is preparing to host the Global Conference on Climate Change.
