Olga Murashko's rejoinder to Petropavlovsk response

In her response, the employee of the Petropavlovsk PLC, describing the positive aspects of the company's interaction with the Ivanovoskoye village residents and personally with the head of the village administration Sergei Savelievich Nikiforov, who is now serving a term in a corrective colony with strict regime, considered the facts of cooperation she provided as sufficient evidence of the company's non-involvement in his dismissal from the post of head of the village administration and subsequent conviction. Herewith the response ignores the facts of a tough resistance of the villagers and the Chairman of the village Sergei Nikiforov to numerous attempts by the Petropavlovsk PLC and its subsidiaries "Khergu", "Temi", and others to obtain licenses for gold mining within the boundaries of the Ivanovskoye municipality. The company reports about the 2011 public hearings, which allegedly it held in the Ivanovskoye, when its project received support from 88 villagers. We are not aware of any documentary evidence of these hearings. However, there is a document on the Decision of the village meeting dated February 22, 2012...[T]he villagers...have decided [to]...Contact Administration for Subsoil Use in the Amur Region, President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, Governor of the Amur Region O.N. Kozhemyako, political parties of the Russian Federation, and media to revoke the license of ZAO “Khergu” for geological studies, exploration and mining of placer gold in the basins of Elga Bolshaya river, in the valley of Ivanovskiy and Bogorodskiy rivulets, Selemdzhinskiy district...
