Futaba response

Futaba Corporation conducts its business operations in strict compliance with Japan's Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act, as well as export control laws and regulations of the relevant countries. Although we have previously engaged in transactions with Russian companies, in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the Futaba group established and has since maintained a policy to cease all dealings with Russian entities. In addition, we have made efforts to ensure that our customers do not resell our products for military use, which includes obtaining written confirmations from them when necessary.

The products we handle have the potential for military diversion, and we are deeply regretted and seriously concerned about the report of their use in Russian weapons. We remain committed to preventing any military diversion of our products by rigorously verifying our customers and the intended use in all transactions.
