Myanmar: Labour rights abuses reported at factory supplying international brands; incl. co. responses

In February 2024, it was reported that workers at Handa (Yangon) Myanmar were facing a series of violations, including verbal abuse if workers don't meet excessive production targets, physical violence, photos taken of workers if they get up to drink water and unfair dismissals.

In September 2024, Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Honeys (for Cinema Club), New Wave Group (for Clique and Craft), Lidl, Mizuno, KIABI, Active Brands, Burtle and United Athle to respond. Responses can be found below.
