We were surprised and saddened to hear about the closure of Bipol in September 2024 (with whom we worked indirectly). This was the tenth consecutive year they had produced products for Boden and we were unaware of the factory being in any financial difficulties. In fact, we had current orders placed and due to be delivered in December 2024.

We were not aware of any allegations of non-payment until the BHRRC contacted us, as upon hearing of the closure we had reached out to the factory who confirmed workers had received their full pay up until closure. They also confirmed that the workers would be receiving any severance pay owed to them and that it was currently sitting with the insolvency company...
