Canadian Govt. sought to intervene to protect Excellon Resources in Mexico from concerns over environmental impacts, labour issues, says NGO report
On 24 Sep 2013, the Mexican NGO Proyecto de Derechos Económicos, Sociales y Culturales (ProDESC) published a press release saying that El Ejido La Sierrita community presented documents in a judicial case allegedly proving that Excellon Resources is infringing on their land rights:

We invited Excellon to respond, and it did here (30 Sep 2013). Together with their response, Excellon sent us the following documents:
