With the closure of the factory, he said, the number of textile factories that have had to go down in the country since the beginning of 2024 has also increased...

‘What makes victims of layoffs depressed is school fees and bills, motorbike instalments. Very concerned,’ said Ristadi.

He also hopes that the government will move quickly to overcome the wave of layoffs that continues to occur.

‘Until now, there are also many textile companies that only work three days a week,’ said Ristadi.
