Jenier's response to allegations of sexual abuse on Kenyan tea plantations
No one should ever have to endure sexual abuse in any country or situation, and like many, we were appalled at the BBC documentary investigation. We do not currently source teas from the estates mentioned in the documentary. Still, as we have stated before, we source teas through members of the Ethical Tea Partnership, who continue to work closely in partnership with tea companies and the local communities to achieve a thriving, socially just and environmentally sustainable tea sector across the world.
