Kazakhstan: 5 miners killed, 4 injured in another explosion at ArcelorMittal Temirtau coal mine

A new tragedy in the chronicles of "ArcelorMittal Temirtau": five dead in the mine after Lenin, 03 November 2022

An explosion on Nov.3 in the mine named after Lenin in the Karaganda region killed five people. In total, over 70 workers have died there during the years of operation of the mine.

Less than a year after the methane release at the ArcelorMittal Temirtau mine in the city of Abay in the Karaganda region, which killed six people, a new large-scale accident occurred in the region.

At night of November 3, methane resulted in explosion at the Lenin mine of the same company in the city of Shakhtinsk. Five miners died, four more are in hospital: they have gas poisoning, various head and body injuries...

The police announced of starting a criminal case...
