Worker dies at Kichi Chaarat Gold Mining Enterprise in Chatkal, 1 August 2024

A worker died at the Kichi Chaarat gold mining enterprise in the village of Chakmak-Suu in the Chatkal district. This was reported to 24.kg by the Jalal-Abad Region Department of Internal Affairs.

...A 39-year-old local resident was jammed by a press filter at the factory. The man was examining parts inside the press filter when the equipment suddenly started working and jammed him. A forensic examination has been ordered.

The deceased had been working at the factory since 2019. He has five children.
