Liberia: Bea Mountain's Workers raise concerns over allegedly bad labour practice

Bea Mountain Mining Corporation workers threatened to strike in response to the company management reported failure to ensure fair labour practice including: the fair classification of workers, the promotion of national staff, the provision of full benefits to short-term workers and the provision of medical checks to employees working in hazardous areas. The Resource Centre reached-out to Bea Mountain's parent company Avesoro Resources through its Company Response mechanism. However, Avesoro Resources did not provide a response.
