Meta did not comment on the allegations that it would be failing to fight electoral disinformation

The BHRRC invited Meta to comment on investigations by Global Witness, NetLab and INCT.DD in partnership with the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), which claim to bring evidence that Facebook would be failing to combat electoral disinformation in Brazil less than two months before the election. The company did not respond.
