Myanmar: Garment workers report abuses incl. denial of leave at alleged Engelbert Strauss supplier; incl. co. response

In March 2024, it was reported that workers at Suntime JCK are facing a series of violations, including denial of leave incl. medical leave and wage cuts if workers take leave, excessive production targets with workers struggling to take breaks to drink water, verbal abuse, poor water quality and high temperatures in the factory, and the Workplace Coordination Committee working according to the wishes of the employer.
