Part of the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre’s effort of promoting corporate legal accountability is following the work of lawyers who have helped improve corporate behaviour through their support for communities in seeking just and peaceful solutions to conflict and abuse. We gather stories of how they help shift the balance of power generally tilted in favour of corporate and state powers, while themselves facing struggles similar to those that their clients face, such as threats, legal harassment, lack of resources, corrupt judicial systems, among others.

In this new series of interviews, lawyers from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Mexico share the challenges and opportunities they face in fighting corporate abuse.
