New Zealand: S.E.A.L. Security faces allegations of fee-charging & underpayment of Indian workers; incl. co. comment

Indian workers who arrived in New Zealand on the Accredited Employer Work Visa have alleged fee-charging and underpayment by their employer, S.E.A.L. Security. The workers said they were charged up to NZ$20,000 for their jobs. Workers also told Newshub they were verbally abused and did not have sufficient money to pay rent or to buy food. The company's director has denied all allegations, saying that deductions were made legally, for rent, immigration and lawyer fees, and worker uniforms which was agreed verbally with the men; the workers deny this.
